D.C. 酒吧 社区 are proud to sponsor the Annual Benjamin Banneker Academic High School Science Fair.
Banneker High School is a magnet school that attracts top local students with particular interests in math, 科学, 和技术, and proudly boasts that 100 percent of its graduates are accepted into college. 在一个 2016年在学校演讲, former President 酒吧ack Obama praised these achievements: "We have made a lot of progress in terms of making sure that young people across the country get the kind of great education that you're getting here at Banneker, and I am really proud of what we've accomplished. Volunteer judges need no scientific degree or prior training. 在博览会的那天, 法官参加简短的, pre-fair briefing followed by a half-day presentation of the 科学 projects by the students. Judges are assigned to groups, talk to students about their project and score each project according to a list of prescribed criteria. Each group of judges then collectively selects winners for the assigned category. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteer judges.
